Background:
Makani grew up with his sister Kachiwi in a small forest village
named Kaymana. After the Spirit Chaser attacked their village, they
set out on a quest to find their captured cousin, Paiko. They were
soon separated, however, and while Kachiwi teamed up with Ravnin,
Makani was made a member of the Nidaros Elite. It would take five
years before they met again.
